The UK & Ireland Chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE UKIC) is proud to announce its Annual Seminar, to be held at the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, on 27th March 2025.

This year’s seminar, titled “Materials and Processes: Enabling Net Zero,” will focus on the pivotal role of materials and processes in driving sustainability. Building on SAMPE UKIC’s longstanding commitment to advancing composites and material innovation, the seminar will showcase the latest developments enabling net-zero goals across industries.

Recognising the urgency of climate change and the global push towards sustainability, this seminar will explore cutting-edge advancements in materials and processes, including:

  • Innovative material solutions for reducing environmental impact.
  • New manufacturing technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  • Recycling and circular economy practices for composites and materials.
  • Emerging applications in energy, transportation and materials processing.

The event will bring together leading professionals, researchers, and manufacturers to share knowledge, network, and foster collaboration.
