JEC World 2026 once again showed why it remains such an important date in the composites calendar.
Of course, the innovation matters, the new materials, technologies, and breakthroughs shaping the future of the industry. But as ever, what stayed with us most were the conversations, the people, and the connections that give the event its real energy.
This year, we were proud to collaborate with Women in the Composites Industry, hosting their Drinks Reception from their pod within the ICS Innovation Hub at JEC World. It is always a privilege to work alongside Marcy Offner, whose leadership continues to strengthen and inspire this important global community. From the lunch and mentoring sessions to the panel discussions, the week was a reminder that progress in this industry is driven not only by technical innovation, but by the people behind it. We are also excited to build on that momentum as we support the launch of Women in the Composites Industry in Europe.
Our Managing Director, Gemma Hardy, took part in the mentoring session, where structured networking quickly gave way to open, honest conversations and valuable insight shared across every stage of career.
Our Marketing Director, Katie Homes, also joined the Composites Lounge panel at JEC World, hosted by Ilkay Özkisaoglu, contributing to a discussion on the role of marketing in a highly technical and evolving industry, and how it can better support growth and commercial outcomes.
Across JEC World, innovation was on full display. From Ilium Composites’ osmosis and fire resistance demonstration displays to conversations with ST Engineering MRAS following Mitch Smith’s panel on aeronautics and the barriers to adoption in next-generation aircraft, JEC World once again highlighted both the pace of progress and the challenges shaping the sector.
Our JEC World Memories campaign brought another dimension to the week, helping reconnect familiar faces, spark new conversations, and celebrate the experiences that make JEC World unique. It was a reminder that the event is not just about what is on the stands, but about the strength of the global composites community behind it.
A particular highlight for us was the first International Composites Summit Innovation Hub at JEC World. Thank you to everyone who exhibited, visited, and supported the hub.
JEC World continues to be more than an exhibition. It is where relationships are strengthened, ideas are tested, and future collaborations begin.
