We’ve just returned from JEC World 2025, and to be honest, we’re still catching our breath.
It was a huge year for the composites industry; but also a big milestone for us at Fluency. From launching a full company rebrand to managing high-impact exhibition activity for multiple clients, we were in our element. It was a week of bold statements, packed schedules, and plenty of coffee-fuelled conversations.
Let’s rewind a little and take you behind the scenes to see what made JEC 2025 so special for us.
A New Look, A Clearer Message
This was our first return to the show since launching our new Fluency brand identity, and the feedback was incredible. We’ve always been about storytelling, strategic growth, and sector expertise, but this year, we showed up more confidently and creatively than ever. Our new brand stood proudly on the global stage, and it was great to see it resonating with new contacts and long-time collaborators.
Show-Stopping Stands and One Giant Inlet
We had the pleasure of supporting several clients with exhibition stand strategy, content, and comms, from the pre-show build-up to on-site support and press outreach. One of the standout moments was coordinating the arrival and display of a full-scale aircraft inlet for one client. It was an ambitious project, but it paid off, drawing attention and admiration from passers by and press alike.
Composites.Archi – From Concept to Show Floor
Another personal highlight was seeing our work on the Composites.Archi website brought to life at JEC. This new platform showcases the use of composites in architecture and construction, and it was a proud moment for our editorial and digital team to see it celebrated at such a high-profile event. The buzz around the site was fantastic and confirmed that the sector is hungry for innovative ways to communicate the potential of composites beyond traditional applications.
Events, Innovation, and Inspiration
JEC World once again delivered on thought leadership and future-focused dialogue. Some of our highlights included:
- Investor Day – A brilliant addition that created real energy around funding and partnerships.
- Startup Booster – Always one of the most exciting areas, where fresh ideas and raw innovation shine.
- Editorial meetings and media briefings – We packed in dozens of meetings with editors, partners, and clients, laying the groundwork for new projects and content collaborations.
We were also thrilled to see some real, authentic sustainability efforts, though we did spot a few superficial claims along the way (a reminder that greenwashing is still alive and well). The true innovators stood out for all the right reasons.

The best part? Reconnecting.
With clients, friends, and industry colleagues from across the globe. We had wall-to-wall meetings, spontaneous coffees, strategy chats, and even a few show-floor deals signed—because there’s nothing quite like that in-person energy.
