AGC Chemicals Europe, manufacturer and supplier of fluoropolymer and fluorochemical products, is preparing to showcase its LUMIFLONTM FEVE resins, Fluon® ETFE, and PFA at the upcoming European Coatings Show (ECS). The event encompasses coating and paint industries to explore new trends, technology, and innovations in coatings, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives.
AGC will be located in Hall 3A, Stand 107 throughout the show, which will run from 28 – 30 March in Nuremburg, Germany.
Continuing a recent and extensive series of event appearances throughout Europe, AGC Chemicals Europe plans to exhibit its largest collection of coating solutions for a wide range of advanced engineering sectors at the ECS. The company’s LUMIFLONTM FEVE solution is a fluoropolymer resin manufactured for highly durable and weatherable surface coatings. As well as being effective in paints for colour and gloss retention, LUMIFLONTM delivers benefits in low-cost maintenance, UV light resistance, and superior corrosion protection, positioning itself as the key coating element for construction and transport industries.
AGC has recently celebrated its 50th anniversary as the world’s leading manufacturer of ETFE since its launch in 1972. The fluoropolymer has been critical in allowing continuous operations in some of the harshest environments, both external and internal. Fluon® ETFE is available in a range of powder forms perfectly suited to coating techniques such as rotolining and electrostatic spray coating. Containing a combination of key properties unique to fluoropolymers, Fluon® ETFE offers excellent resistance against heat, flame, and chemical corrosion. It provides superb protection from aggressive media used in a large variety of applications including semiconductor manufacture and chemical production. Its non-stick capability has also been utilised in decal film for component manufacture.
The ECS has previously attracted over 1,000 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors to its event, with 94% of exhibitors acquiring new business relations.
