Main Purpose of Job
The Marketing Project Manager will play a central role in delivering marketing and events activity across Fluency’s international portfolio of clients, services, and owned events.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role designed to increase capacity across the team. You will be responsible for executing integrated campaigns, coordinating projects, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will bridge the gap between strategy and execution, while engaging with senior stakeholders internally and externally. The role offers a clear progression path into team management as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Project Delivery
- Deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, PR, and events.
- Manage multiple client and internal projects simultaneously across international markets.
- Coordinate timelines, resources, and suppliers to ensure delivery to a high standard.
- Support the execution of marketing strategies developed by senior leadership.
Marketing Communications
Oversee and contribute to:
- Content creation (press releases, articles, case studies, social).
- Website updates and CMS management.
- Email campaigns and digital marketing activity.
- SEO and performance tracking.
Ensure consistency and quality across all marketing outputs.
Events & Exhibitions
- Support the planning and delivery of conferences, exhibitions, and events.
- Coordinate logistics, suppliers, and marketing activity linked to events.
- Contribute to event promotion, delegate acquisition, and on-site delivery.
- Travel to events in the UK, Europe, and occasionally the US (expected 4–8 events per year).
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal directors.
- Manage external vendors and partners to ensure quality and consistency.
- Support client communications and reporting where required.
Team & Coordination
- Work closely with junior team members to support delivery and output quality.
- Provide coordination and informal leadership across projects.
- Contribute to the development of team structure and processes.
About You
- 3–6 years’ experience in a marketing, account management, or project-based role.
- Agency or B2B marketing experience strongly preferred but not essential.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience across a mix of content and communications, digital marketing, and events or campaign delivery.
- Confident working across both strategy and execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and solutions focused.
